Jennifer and Andy - Pineapples and Hibiscus at Da Pink House

All photos courtesy of Frank Amodo - Amodo Photo

It's a busy, busy week so why not start it off on the right foot by showcasing a beautiful wedding at Da Pink House. We received a amazing selection of photos of Jennifer and Andy's wedding on June 8, 2008, all exquisitely photographed, by Frank Amodo of Amodo Photo. You'll recognize Frank's lovely artful style from previous weddings featured here. Jennifer and Andy had a Hawaiian inspired wedding and chose the all pink "Da Pink House" (on Da Beach), an oceanfront estate in the Portlock area of Oahu. Their colors were shades of blue, dark brown and red accents. To incorporate the Hawaiian motif into the wedding, the couple chose pineapples and hibiscus accents on their tabletops, invitations and their wedding cake. Jennifer provided Rick with the monogram design below that they would use at the wedding, and from this and color swatches, he designed their cake.

Jennifer and Andy's cake was iced in buttercream and with applique's of pineapples and hibiscus and a handcrafted custom dark brown pineapple. They chose our Guava Lava and Hawaii Five-0 flavors for their wedding cake. Catering Connections provided the cuisine for the guests.

Rick and I would like to thank Jen and Andy for being such a joy to work with. We enjoyed seeing their gorgeous photos (Thank You, Frank!) and wish them both the best on their new life together!
