Last Friday, as we were busy preparing for the weekend, something wonderful pulled our attention away on several occasions throughout the day. One of our wedding couples, Irene and Joe were a featured Real Wedding on one of our favorite wedding blog sites, Style Me Pretty. Irene and Joe obviously did so many things right for the wedding because we had chosen them as a "Featured Wedding" on cakelava.com back in November, and then a few months later, they had Abby Larson, the owner of Style Me Pretty, who is quite the wedding authority and super sweet gal, gushing praise over their wedding. Rick and I had sent Irene and Joe's wedding to Style Me Pretty for consideration a while back because we thought it would be perfect for them. We are proud members of Style Me Pretty's "Little Black Book", which is by invitation only, and its always an honor to be part of their site. It wasn't long after Abby's post that her brides started asking where Irene got nearly every component of her wedding. Okay, so I'm exaggerating, not every component, only her shoes, flowers, the flower girl's dress, linens ... Luckily, Irene came to the inquisitive brides' rescue and revealed where she got said items. Irene was so excited to be part of Style Me Pretty, she said it made her weekend!
