Princess Alexandra Turns Five
With all the love in the air over the past weekend, you probably expected to see one of our wedding cakes on the blog today. We'll share some of them in the near future. Today is all about Alexandra's Disney Princesses themed 5th birthday cake made for her party over the weekend. She chose three of her favorite Disney Princesses -- Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Belle from Beauty & The Beast, and Rick hand-painted one on each tier of her cake and surrounded it with a delicate gold filligree pattern. He adorned the Hawaii Five-o and Chocolate Dream flavored cake with handcrafted roses, hearts and butterflies. We thought Alexandra's parents did a fantastic job setting the environment outdoors at their home. Everything was perfectly color and theme coordinated, including their bouncy house, which had the Disney Princesses on it. Very cute!

I wish I had that cake and I am 25... I would have died and gone to heaven if I would have gotten a cake like that when I was 5. I have to assume mine was something like a "cake wreck".
Kendra,
We're happy to make you the princess cake you've always wanted. You'll just have to plan to pass through Oahu sometime on your birthday *wink*
Wow - what a lucky 5 year old! I wonder what her Sweet 16 cake will look like!
