Gothic-inspired Purple and Black Wedding Cake
Image courtesy of Rachel Robertson Photography
If you are an avid reader of Cake Central Magazine, you'll recognize Rick's gothic-inspired purple, black and silver wedding cake, featured in the August 2010 issue. One of our favorite recent cakes, we were excited to hear that Christian and Andrea's outrageous and untraditional wedding cake exquisitely photographed by Rachel Robertson was selected for publication. This truly one-of-a-kind design combines feminine, curvy shapes with the more masculine spikes and spheres, and a fountain style custom cake topper with skulls. It was the perfect match for Andrea and Christian's gothic theme and their dark purple and black custom linens and decor throughout the reception site. Christian and Andrea loved their cake and were thrilled to find out it would appear in a national magazine! They wrote:
Andrea and I would like to thank you for everything you did. Our wedding cake was far beyond what we were expecting....not like we thought you weren't going to WOW everybody, but it completely blew EVERYBODY away!
Congratulations to Andrea and Christian! Thank you for bringing us an inspiring theme and colors to work with. A Big Thank You also to Rachel Robertson Photography for her AMAZING images!
