Elmo and Sesame Street in Birthday Cakeland

cakelava.com
I admit it. Sometimes we just have too much damn fun while we're working, and this Elmo and Sesame Street themed birthday cake we delivered over the weekend to our client Marianne made her smile as much as it put a silly grin on our face. Marianne fell in love with Rick's JoJo Circus themed cake on cakelava.com and wanted a cake with a similar feel -- BRIGHT, fun and playful, but in a Sesame Street theme, with an emphasis on the super cute red furry one. She chose our Hot Fudge Sundae and Strawberries Chantilly flavors to serve to her son Stephan's birthday guests. By the look on their face, Elmo and Grover were ecstatic they could wish Stephan a "Happy Birthday", and were just as excited to take the hour and a half drive out to the North Shore to meet Marianne and her family in person. Yippee!!

See our Elmo and Sesame Street themed birthday cake newly posted on cakelava.com along with many other sculpted and non-sculpted art cakes.

OMG - a year and a half later and I can't believe I am only just seeing this post!

Stephan's Elmo/Sesame Sreet cake was a HUGE hit - all the children (and parents!) screamed with joy when they saw it and could not wait to have a piece! Stephan is still obsessed with Elmo and still loves to look at the pictures of his cake!

The cake not only looked fabulous, it tasted INCREDIBLE!

We now have another son (Aiden) who is going to be one in a few months and we hope you will be able to create another amazing cake for him!

You guys are fantastic!!! Thank-you squeezing us in and for providing such amazing memories of our son Stephan's first birthday!
